As expected, Apple also increased its dividend and announced an expansion of its share repurchase program. In its fiscal second quarter ending March 26, Apple's revenue was $97.3 billion, up 9% from a year ago and well above Wall Street's consensus estimate of $94 billion. Earnings were $1.52 a share, ten cents above Wall Street's consensus estimate of $1.42 a share. The strong quarter was marked by the company's flagship iPhone business, with sales of $50.6 billion, up 5.5% from analysts' consensus estimate of $48.4 billion.

Net income $7.47 billion Meta said ad revenue for the quarter was $27 billion, up 6.1%. The company said ad impressions increased by 15% in the quarter.
